Fatima & Matthew | Belle Isle Maternity SessionI absolutely loved this recent maternity photo session I did with Fatima and Matthew at Belle Isle in Detroit. The couple was flying into town from out of state with a short window of time and wanted to know if I would be available. I am so glad I was! This beautiful mama to be had some great ideas of her own and was open to some of my suggestions as well. We had a beautiful morning to take photographs. Human Trafficking Awareness 5K | Grosse Pointe, MIAwesome is how I would describe the day! Last month I had the opportunity to be a sponsor for Soroptimist International of Grosse Pointe's Human Trafficking Awareness 5K. I was able to combine my love of photography with a cause that is important to me. It was a great day for a 5K run/walk that went through the neighborhoods of Grosse Pointe Woods and St. Clair Shores. I was happy to support this event with my photography. All of the money raised from the event is going to organizations in the Detroit area to help fight human trafficking in the area. The French Cow | Eastern Market, DetroitI absolutely love The French Cow crepe shop. Every time I shop at Eastern Market, on a Saturday morning, I have to stop at this wonderful stand of deliciousness. The owner, Marie, is from France and we are fortunate enough to have her in Detroit making her savory and sweet crepes for all who order them. A little bit of something for everyone! Family Portrait Session | Detroit RiverfrontIt was a great time photographing Jessica and her family at the beautiful Detroit Riverfront. I was happy to capture some special moments of her with her loved ones. During the end of the session it began to rain and a beautiful rainbow formed over the Detroit River. Denzel Personal Branding Session | Detroit, MichiganI had so much fun working with Denzel on his personal branding session. He recently graduated from college and was looking to get some professional portraits, along with some fun ones to get his career started. This photo session had several locations in Detroit that included the Detroit Riverfront and Eastern Market. Denzel was very open to ideas and locations, which made the session that much more fun. I wish him much success, as he begins his new career.
