Salsa at the Garden | Detroit, MichiganWhen I was contacted to photograph Salsa at the Garden, I jumped at the chance, since it combined several things that I love: photography, a live salsa band and dancing! It was a fun evening that also included a Cabresto Tequila tasting, fashion show by Londons Alley, and dance lessons. Live entertainment was performed by la 313 Orquesta. They did a wonderful job of getting everyone on their feet. If you are looking for a fun night, I strongly encourage you to attend one of the Salsa at the Garden events at the Garden Theater in Detroit, Michigan. Christmas Photo Session | Grosse Pointe Park, MIThis family, who recently moved into the area, contacted me to photograph them for their Christmas card to capture their new hometown. They were a great couple to work with and their little boy was a sweetie pie. The session took place along Kercheval in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan. Soirée Masquerade | Dequindre Cut, DetroitLast week, I had so much fun attending and taking photos for the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy's Soirée Masquerade on the Dequindre Cut in Detroit, MI. This annual fundraiser invited guests to put on a mask and enjoy delicious food and beverage from various food trucks, as well as participate in different activities including animal bike rides, tarot card readings, music and more. A highlight of the event was the completion of the newest mural by Detroit artist, Sydney James, on the Dequindre Cut. I am absolutely in love with this gorgeous mural. Mary & Rob Wedding | Ann Arbor, MichiganIt was a magical day photographing Mary and Rob's wedding at the University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I must say the conservatory and gardens were absolutely gorgeous. It made for a fun day of photographing this terrific couple, on their special day. Mary was stunning, as she walked down the conservatory aisle, and Rob was glowing with happiness, as he waited to take Mary to be his wife. I wish this newly married couple much love and happiness, as they begin this new chapter in their life. Below are some of my favorite photos from the day:
